The Australian Veterans Linguist Association is a not-for-profit organisation designed to be sustainable, inclusive, and future-focused. We bring together both current and former Defence linguists to share their experience, support career development, and strengthen Australia’s broader language capability.

We are a practitioner-led association focused on welfare, community, professional growth, and cultural expertise. Our members benefit from networking and development opportunities, cultural engagement, and other supports. We foster mentorship, enable access to industry training, and build bridges between Defence and the public.
